Construction poses inherent risks.  As a result, insurance becomes a must-have to protect construction participants from certain risks.  Insurance commonly procured during construction projects includes:

  2. Builder’s risk and property insurance;
  3. Contractor’s equipment insurance;
  4. Commercial general liability (CGL);
  5. Contractor’s pollution liability;
  6. Professional liability / errors & omissions;
  7. Subcontractor default insurance;
  8. Workers compensation (and employers liability); and
  9. Wrap-up insurance (CCIP & OCIP);
